Asset Finance is experiencing record growth and looking forward to an exciting future and as a result we have an opportunity in our Technical Consulting team for an Asset Finance Technical Analyst.

Part of Virgin Money’s business bank, asset finance supports SME business customers throughout the UK. Our customers range from small to complex high-growth businesses, including SMEs that are the backbone of the UK economy.

Reporting to the Manager Governance & Control (Asset Finance), the Technical Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Technical Consultants with 1st line of defence and assurance activities across the asset finance team.

This opportunity provides the role holder with the chance to build on existing knowledge and become a subject matter expert. You will be expected to be proactive about your self-development and building your own network to create a positive identity for the asset finance business, possessing high levels of self-awareness.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Glasgow office. As you will be based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events.
