Before you pay
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you have bought stay on your account for as long as it is open. There is no monthly reset and no use-it-or-lose-it window.
Is there really no subscription?
No recurring charge, no renewal date and nothing to cancel. Every purchase is a one-off. When you have found a job you simply stop buying credits, and anything left stays on your account.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Signing up takes an email address and a password, and you get 3 free credits straight away. You only enter card details if you decide to buy a pack, which you do inside the app.
What happens if an answer fails, or I stop it?
The credit comes back automatically. That covers an error mid-answer, a cover letter or CV rewrite Morganson declines to write, a salary check with no reliable data, and stopping a generation before it really starts. A search that runs properly but finds nothing does use its credit — the work happened, it just came back empty.
Will employers know my cover letter was written with AI?
Assume they can tell, and we would rather you hear it from us. Anthropic, the maker of the AI Morganson uses, embeds a machine-readable watermark in AI-written text. In our August 2026 review of all 328 employers we cover, none bans AI-assisted applications — our advice is to personalise every letter and be open about using a tool.
Can I get a refund on credits I have bought?
Credits you have already used are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you are a UK consumer you have a 14-day cancellation right covering credits from that purchase you have not yet used. Email hello@morganson.co and we will sort it out.
