Senior Audit Assistant

The opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Audit Assistant to join our dynamic Audit team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to assess their financial operations and provide valuable insights to enhance their business performance. You will interact with multiple organizations, across different industries, and across different countries, to gain unique insights into how business operates. As a senior member of the team, you will lead and coach junior team members, delegate and review audit work, coordinate engagement activities, and help ensure high-quality and timely delivery of audit engagements.

Your key responsibilities

• Leading fieldwork, managing performance and your team and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
• Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to increase your technical and business skills in areas including revenue, financial instruments and income taxes.
• Engaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
• Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
• Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience in external financial audit.
• A degree in an accounting, finance or business discipline.
• Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
• Great communication and team management skills.
• Experience in IFRS and local GAAP
• Fluent in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.

Salary: EUR 2950 – 4050 gross.
