Build and evolve business-critical clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java and Spring Boot.

Work in autonomous, cross-functional teams using agile practices, Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing and continuous delivery.

Develop and operate cloud-native applications on AWS, including containerised services on ECS and event-driven workloads on Lambda.

Shape reliable delivery and operations with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability and monitoring.

Write clean, secure, well-tested and maintainable code.
-
Take ownership from idea to production, delivering measurable value while ensuring resilient and compliant financial workflows.

Raise the team’s engineering standards by improving quality, automation, reliability and developer experience.

A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification.

Strong experience building backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.

A solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and the ability to translate complex business processes into clear software models.

Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems and APIs.

Familiarity with cloud-native development on AWS, especially containerised and serverless workloads.

Confidence with automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and production observability.

A quality and security mindset, with attention to reliability, maintainability and operational ownership.

An interest in complex financial workflows or the curiosity to learn them quickly.

Clear communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to solving problems.
