Events Manager – UK Vehicle Payments (UKVP)
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Events Manager – UK Vehicle Payments within our Marketing department with our International Vehicles Payments (IVP) division This position falls under our Payments line of business and is located in Swindon, UK.
You will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering events across the UK Vehicle Payments portfolio, as well as major internal, strategic events such as the UK Vehicle Payments Summit. You will own the end-to-end operational delivery of events, including logistics, supplier management, budget management, merchandise, event materials coordination, awards attendance logistics, partner event support and corporate event support. You will ensure events are delivered professionally, on time, within budget and aligned to brand, commercial and stakeholder objectives. A key part of the role is to also ensure the pre, during and post event activities are executed with excellence to maximise ROI for each event and are integrated as part of the overall UKVP Marketing plan. You will also attend and evaluate new event opportunities, assessing their relevance and appropriateness for each brand and making recommendations on whether the business should participate, sponsor, exhibit or attend in future. This is a senior events role requiring strong event management experience, budget ownership, stakeholder management and the ability to work confidently with customers, partners and senior internal stakeholders.
You will report directly to the VP Marketing UKVP, and collaborate regularly with the wider marketing and communications team, logistics, event organisers, clients and partners.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Event strategy and planning
- Owning the operational planning and delivery of events across Allstar, The Fuelcard Company and Compare the Fuelcard.
- Leading event logistics for the UK Vehicle Payments Summit, our internal leadership event, and other external major UK Vehicle Payments events such as Fleet and Mobility Live, the AFP Conference, and BVRLA Fleets in Charge.
- Develop and maintain the UK Vehicle Payments events calendar, ensuring activity is planned, prioritised and aligned to wider marketing and commercial objectives.
- Ensuring all events have clear objectives, ownership, timelines, budgets, deliverables and post-event follow-up plans.
Event logistics and operational delivery
- Owning end-to-end event logistics, including venue liaison, supplier coordination, stand requirements, delegate arrangements, merchandise, branding, collateral, equipment and event materials.
- Manage operational delivery for trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, partner events, corporate events, awards and hosted events.
Budget management and supplier coordination
- Owning event budget planning, tracking and management across agreed events.
- Manage supplier quotes, cost comparisons and budget recommendations.
- Ensure financial processes are followed for event-related activity, including purchase order generation, invoice tracking and reconciliation where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising event quality or brand standards.
Merchandise, branding and event materials
- Owning the planning, ordering, tracking and management of event merchandise.
- Coordinate branded materials, signage, stands, printed collateral, giveaways and event equipment.
- Work with the In-House Design team, Senior Content Manager and relevant stakeholders to ensure event materials are accurate, on brand and fit for purpose.
- Maintain visibility of stock levels and future merchandise requirements.
Partner and corporate event support
- Providing event support for corporate and partner-led activity where UK Vehicle Payments participation is required.
- Acting as the main events point of contact for Logistics UK and RHA.
- Coordinate event requirements with partner organisations, sponsors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Event evaluation and recommendations
- Attending new or prospective events to assess their relevance and suitability for all UK Vehicle Payment brands, including Allstar and TFC.
- Evaluate event quality, audience fit, commercial relevance, competitor presence, sponsorship opportunities, networking value and brand alignment.
- Providing clear recommendations on whether the business should attend, sponsor, exhibit or avoid specific events in future.
Stakeholder and customer management
- Managing relationships with senior internal stakeholders, Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, external suppliers, event organisers, partners, and customers where relevant.
Governance, reporting and continuous improvement
- Ensuring events are delivered in line with internal policies, brand standards, compliance requirements and approved budgets.
- Tracking event deliverables, costs, attendance, operational outcomes and key learnings.
- Producing post-event summaries covering performance, budget, supplier feedback, recommendations and improvements.
- Build repeatable event processes, templates and checklists to improve consistency and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Significant experience in event management, ideally within a B2B, corporate, commercial or marketing environment.
- Proven experience managing event budgets, supplier costs and financial tracking.
- Strong operational event delivery experience across conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, awards, hosted events or partner events.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and providing clear, confident updates.
- Experience liaising directly with customers, partners, suppliers and event organisers.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at once.
- Confident managing suppliers, venues, stands, merchandise and event materials.
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commercial awareness and ability to assess whether events are appropriate for different brands and audiences.
Desirable
- Experience in fleet, fuel, mobility, transport, automotive, payments or B2B services.
- Experience delivering large-scale or flagship events.
- Experience managing partner or sponsorship-led events.
- Experience working with trade bodies or industry associations.
- Experience evaluating new event opportunities and producing recommendations for senior stakeholders.
