The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) Infrastructure and Indirects team provides transparency over the allocation of charges to the Corporate & Investment Bank from other divisions, including approximately $2B of infrastructure technology charges. We partner closely with Corporate & Investment Bank Technology, Global Technology, and business-aligned F&BM teams to deliver actionable reporting, strengthen processes, and support the strategic Corporate & Investment Bank technology agenda. The team also works with Technology on cross–Corporate & Investment Bank initiatives, including cloud and token-based cost development, offering a unique opportunity to influence high-impact technology investment decisions across the firm.

As a Vice President in the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management Infrastructure and Indirects team, you will partner with Markets Technology and key finance/technology stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy, architecture standards, and financial outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with Markets Technology to ensure infrastructure strategy aligns with Global Technology standards, architecture direction, and financial objectives.
  • Build a deep understanding of infrastructure roadmaps and architectural standards, identifying gaps, risks, and financial impacts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across on-premises, off-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure usage models.
  • Lead Markets Technology infrastructure planning and forecasting processes; deliver targeted insights to assist senior management decision-making.
  • Manage technology billing issues through to resolution with internal and external partners.
  • Apply FinOps principles to evaluate technology solutions and support optimization of cost, performance, and value.
  • Produce data-driven analysis, reporting, and executive-level materials to support key stakeholder forums.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology infrastructure financial management, cost transparency, cloud cost management, and FinOps practices.
  • Prior exposure to artificial intelligence technologies and their financial and infrastructure implications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executive presence with proven stakeholder management and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • High attention to detail paired with the ability to synthesize and simplify complexity.
  • Strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
