Job Description & Summary
You will join our dynamic Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) team within PwC Switzerland’s Operations Transformation practice. We support leading companies across industries – incl. Pharma & Life Sciences, Industrial Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods – on high impact strategy and transformation programs spanning manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and broader operations. You will collaborate closely with our PwC and Strategy& global network in an inclusive, entrepreneurial, and high performing environment.
As a (Senior) Manager, you will contribute to and lead key elements of Operations and Manufacturing transformation projects. You will help shape strategies, design transformation programs, and drive implementation together with clients.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Advise clients on Operations Strategy topics, with an emphasis on Manufacturing (e.g., Fit-for-Growth, Make-or-Buy, CDMO Strategy and Ecosystems, Smart/AI Manufacturing, Digital plants, Asset efficiency, Operational Excellence), while also contributing to broader areas such as network strategy and sustainability.
- Lead project workstreams, including problem-solving, data analysis, solution design, and development of high-impact client deliverables.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders, supporting or facilitating workshops, presentations, and discussions.
- Guide junior colleagues in producing high‑quality analyses and outputs.
- Support business development, including proposal support, preparation of pitch materials, and identification of follow on opportunities.
- Contribute to thought leadership on topics such as manufacturing transformation, digital operations, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional PwC and Strategy& experts to bring the best global capabilities to our clients.

Your Qualifications and Skill Set
We are looking for driven, curious, and collaborative individuals with a passion for solving complex operational challenges.
- Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in management or strategy consulting, industrial operations, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, or other operations‑related fields.
- Proven experience contributing to (or leading) workstreams, structuring analyses, and delivering high‑quality client outputs.
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem‑solving skills.
- Significant experience in AI tools for research, slide generation and any other core consulting skill
- Ideally experience in applying AI in a manufacturing environment at client
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client‑facing settings.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with strong ownership and initiative.
- Fluency in English required; German or French is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong sense of responsibility and independence.
- Flexibility to travel and work on client site when needed.
