Amazon’s Counterfeit Crimes Unit (CCU) is looking for a talented Risk Manager based in London to develop and execute Amazon’s external counterfeit enforcement efforts. You will work with a team of attorneys, investigators, and analysts to identify counterfeiters, their networks, and other bad actors in EMEA, develop and pursue cases against them, and work with law enforcement to disrupt their activities. You will also work closely with law enforcement partners, prosecutors, brands, and regulators to take our enforcement efforts externally.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Risk Manager with a background in IP protection, fraud, risk, or cyber investigations who also has advanced data analysis skills. Principal responsibilities will include bringing enforcement actions against counterfeiters and other bad actors; analyzing internal and external data sources to identify high-value targets; collaborating with law enforcement agencies and rights owners in support of prosecutions and disruptions of counterfeiters’ supply chains; and working cross-functionally with other internal teams to ensure close coordination in Amazon’s fight against counterfeits. Some travel will be required.

About the team The Counterfeit Crimes Unit (CCU) is a global team that includes former US federal prosecutors, prior law enforcement officers, expert investigators, and data analysts. CCU, brands, customs agencies, and law enforcement share information to track down counterfeiters, shut down bad actors’ accounts, seize counterfeit inventory, and prosecute those involved. CCU has disrupted counterfeiters and their networks through civil suits, joint criminal referrals, and seizures with law enforcement worldwide, including against suppliers, logistics providers, social media influencers, fake invoice providers, and more
