In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven IT Governance & FinOps Specialist to join our internal IT team in Athens.

The IT Governance & FinOps Specialist supports PwC Greece IT Operations by helping manage technology spend, strengthen IT governance, and improve service management controls.

You will work with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, Risk, service owners, and vendors to provide clear reporting, identify cost optimization opportunities, and support responsible technology investment.

Monitor cloud, AI, infrastructure, software, and technology spend, identifying anomalies and optimization opportunities

Maintain cost dashboards, forecasts, allocation models, and management reporting

Support IT budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, renewals, procurement reviews, and business cases

Track governance activities, including policy exceptions, control gaps, risks, audit evidence, and remediation actions

Support vendor and contract reviews, including service commitments, renewal timelines, performance indicators, and improvement actions

Contribute to IT service management controls across incident, problem, change, request, and service level management processes

Prepare clear reporting and insights for IT leadership and key stakeholders

Maintain documentation, governance trackers, playbooks, and process evidence to support audit readiness

What you bring matters

Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered

3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT financial management, IT governance, service management, procurement support, or a related technology function

Good understanding of technology cost drivers across cloud, software, infrastructure, AI platforms, or enterprise services

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, reporting, or governance activities

Familiarity with IT service management practices and tools, preferably ServiceNow or similar platforms

Excellent communication skills in Greek and English

ITIL Foundation, FinOps Foundation, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Power BI, or similar certifications are considered an advantage

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, documentation discipline, and ability to turn data into clear business insights
