With a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes, the SRI Events team elevates the firm’s brand and deepens engagement with key clients and prospects across EMEA.
As a senior associate on the SRI Events team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the event strategy and execution for the EMEA portfolio. You will bring creative ideas, suggest compelling venues, and propose engaging content, all while managing multiple projects simultaneously. From large-scale conferences to intimate dinner discussions, you will collaborate with business leaders to deliver seamless, high-quality events that align with strategic objectives and enhance the client experience.
Job responsibilities
- Strategically plans and executes Security and Resiliency Initiative (SRI) events to advance client engagement for targeted clients and prospects in key industries.
- Proactively leads invitation and RSVP tracking processes, including invitation creation, testing, and distribution, ensuring timely and accurate attendee communications.
- Diligently owns RSVP lists from multiple data sources (CRMs and registration portals) to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Meticulously builds and maintains project plans and operational documents, including invoices and budget tracking, to support event execution.
- Effectively writes and manages event communications, such as host and speaker briefing documents, to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Thoroughly leads production elements, including project plans, venue research and contracting, catering, audio/visual requirements, event collateral creation, name badge production, and packing/shipping.
- Seamlessly liaises with venue and A/V teams onsite, manages registration, and oversees vendor management to deliver a high-quality attendee experience.
- Promptly drafts materials and participates in debrief calls with partner organizations and the business/steering committee to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
- Systematically aggregates data and analyzes programs for effectiveness and ROI in partnership with business and marketing centers of excellence (digital, communications, etc.).
- Consistently analyzes RSVP trends, attendance patterns, and engagement metrics to inform and refine event strategy.
- Accurately finalizes event reporting, including budget actuals and audit record retention, to ensure compliance and transparency.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in marketing and events.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as hands-on experience with various CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities; must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong sense of personal accountability, professionalism, integrity, and judgment.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to communicate clearly across a variety of stakeholders.
- Willingness to work early morning and late evening events; some travel required (~25%).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.
