Support account strategies by developing an institutional understanding of the client and help build an efficient, productive and strong relationship.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Citi’s products and how they relate to our client’s credit allocation, implementation and ongoing management.
Develop relationships with clients and assist with routine credit queries, confirmation of support, problem escalation. Assist clients in navigating Citi’s vast network.
Co-ordinate the global credit allocation process for clients, working with the GNB Network, Product Partners, ICM, Risk and Credit Risk management Services (CRMS) to facilitate credit approval requests.
Develop a thorough understanding of the Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) policy, ensuring that all credit requests are processed within policy requirements.
Develop a thorough understanding of Citi’s AML and Compliance policies and procedures, ensuring timely approval and completion of key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Banking team to support the broad range of client needs.
Work in partnership with Products teams to ensure credit requirements are met and provide relevant support
Act as an escalation point for clients and liaising with internal teams where required to ensure Operations and Product are taking the appropriate steps and responsibility to resolve items raised by the clients. Escalate internally when required
Support the co-ordination and execution of day-to-day credit requests from the GNB Network/ Product partners.
Close co-ordination with CRMS and the Documentation Unit (DCU) for credit line set up and availment, ensuring that approvals obtained are in line with requirements under WCR
Assist in the preparation of client Support Discussions. Ensure that necessary Business & Risk approvals have been obtained and that the Support Discussion workflow is lodged in Citi Risk Approvals, or where applicable, necessary deferral is put in place
Liaise with client to affirm Head Office support for any new credit requests, ensuring required support documentation (i.e. Guarantees; Letter of Comfort) are lodged with DCU, and that all requirements under Citi’s support policy are met
Ensures client portfolio has correct marketing hierarchy and legal structure reported in the appropriate systems and assists in maintenance of same
Prepare facility; exposure and relationship data as requested by bankers. At annual review time, co-ordinate with the GNB network to review global facilities, and help make recommendations for potential changes/reductions
Work in partnership with Trade Implementations for the issuance and associated documentation for Guarantees/LCs
Work closely with Product Partners; GNB network; CRMS to ensure timely resolution of data exceptions (facility excess or unmatched transactions)
Assist bankers in the co-ordination of ad-hoc regulatory/data review exercises, and help with data clean-up exercises, making the necessary facility adjustments where appropriate
Close co-ordination with Operations, AML and ICG Partners on KYC creation and renewal process, with focus on supporting the firm’s goal of achieving its KYC deliverables.

This role will allow an individual to develop a good understanding of our client’s organization, and banking needs. It will also provide client facing exposure when dealing with their BAU credit requirements.
The role will provide a thorough understanding of Citi’s products, risk and controls. It will also provide the opportunity for cross product exposure and expansion of network across Citi branches around the globe.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
Citi products (cash management/custody/Markets) knowledge is preferable
Basic credit skills
Proven ability to learn and exert sound judgement
Client focused and results oriented
Consistently demonstrate follow-up and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication ability
Proven planning, negotiation and analytical experience
Professional attitude
