Department

Within the Finance Department, the Risk Partnerships team is responsible for the purchase of retrocession to protect SCOR’s global exposures. Retrocession is a key component of SCOR’s underwriting strategy, ensuring the protection of the Group’s capital while providing underwriters with sufficient capacity to support business growth. The outward protections on which the intern will work aim to cover the worldwide P&C reinsurance treaty portfolio (both proportional and non‑proportional), with a particular focus on Property Catastrophe risks.

Job Summary

The intern will support the team in enhancing the monitoring and management of collateralized contracts, which are critical to effective counterparty risk management and require accurate, timely, and reliable tracking.

This internship will provide the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with collateralized reinsurance and financial contracts, exposure to risk management and operational processes, and practical involvement in process automation and monitoring tool enhancements.

Depending on the team’s operational needs, the intern may also be asked to assist with additional ad‑hoc tasks.
