As Paralegal you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, working on fraud cases both pre-litigated and litigated for a wide variety of clients The position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with the expectation to be in the Liverpool office two days per week. Responsibilities Managing a caseload of defendant motor fraud cases, from inception to resolution. Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system. Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression. Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation. Researching to support legal strategies and case development. What will help you succeed in this role? Essential Relevant Legal qualifications e.g. LLB, LLM. The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Excellent attention to detail to be able to carefully analyse files and data. The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Business acumen and an understanding of the clients' needs. Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A genuine interest in insurance fraud and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Desirable Experience handling in your own right or assisting on a defendant personal injury or motor fraud caseload. A strong understanding of the CPR and civil litigation process. What we offer?
