Solicitor - Finance Litigation

Why join us? DWF is seeking a highly motivated Solicitor to join our market-leading Finance Litigation team in Manchester. The successful candidate will provide advice and assistance across a range of finance litigation matters, including asset and consumer finance. Whilst the team operates as a nationally structured team supporting the wider DWF regional offices throughout the UK, The role is based in Manchester, with a flexible, hybrid working approach. Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of finance litigation matters under partner supervision. • Provide advice and assistance on asset and consumer finance claims. • Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and networking. What will help you succeed in this role? • A qualified Solicitor or equivalent. • A sound knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and associated regulations would be preferred. • A sound knowledge of The Civil Procedure Rules 1998 • Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a caseload. • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines. • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data. • Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
