Clearstream as premier provider of settlement & custody services needs to ensure continuous monitoring of service delivery processes and processing performance, establish, and maintain strong operational controls and co-ordinate business contingency measures to comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
As a claim team lead, you will be in charge of coordinating the analysis, investigation and assessment of claims, late value claims or any incident originating from internal operational/system errors or external supplier errors for Clearstream Banking Luxembourg, Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, Lux CSD and Clearstream International.
The position reports to Claims Management, Independent Business and Risk Control (IBRC).
Your responsibilities
- Supervise the handling and investigation of customer claims, incidents, and prefunding requests.
- Supervise and ensure corrective measures to avoid re-occurrence are identified and agreed with the internal business areas. Monitor the follow up until closure and implementation
- Ensure high quality deliverables to internal and external customers
- Ensure that control deficiencies identified by internal; external audit or other control functions are mitigated.
- Ensure KPIs are within the expected standards
- Effective and timely reporting and escalation to Claims Management
- Perform employee annual performance reviews and empower people to perform tasks autonomously
Your profile
- University degree in economics, financial markets or business management is a plus
- Several years experience with Clearstream products, services and business applications. Well developed understanding of business context and processes
- Previous experience in a management position
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems autonomously
- High commitment, proactiveness
- Critical mind set, customer oriented and good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability/willingness to build network
- Strong team player in an international environment
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), any other language is an advantage
