Deloitte Ireland is seeking an experienced Bid Executive to drive new business pursuit across our firm.
Reporting directly to the head of our Pursuit Centre of Excellence, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we win strategic, high-value bids—working on some of the most significant opportunities in the professional services market. You will also own the development, maintenance, and evolution of our firm-wide bid content library and self-service capability. This includes curating, updating, and optimising standard content across all service lines.
This is a highly visible position where your project management expertise, attention to detail, creativity, and ability to orchestrate complex teams will directly impact our competitive success and firm growth.
Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
Proven Bid Executive experience in a professional services firm (Big 4, leading consultancy, or legal practice), with demonstrated expertise in managing active bids, RFP processes, and proposal delivery
Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with a track record of delivering complex, deadline-driven initiatives on time and to quality standards
Proven experience in supporting innovation in bid processes and in the creation and management of bid content libraries
Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word formatting), bid management platforms, document repositories, and familiarity with AI tools for content automation and document assembly
Outstanding communication and editorial skills, combining the ability to write compelling proposal content, edit and proofread technical material, and communicate clearly across all organisational levels
What type of work will I be doing?
Lead project management of strategic bids, maintaining detailed trackers, coordinating stakeholder action, and driving timely delivery of high-quality proposals
Develop and refine bid strategy in collaboration with bid managers and proposal teams, ensuring a compelling and differentiated approach to each pursuit
Own and evolve the firm-wide bid content library, curating, maintaining, and optimising standard content across service lines for rapid deployment and consistency
Administer tendering portals and repositories (e.g. etenders), ensuring seamless access to bid resources and timely updates across the organisation
Deliver hands-on proposal support, including writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents to ensure a polished, professional finished product
Collaborate with creative and client service teams to develop visual themes, design concepts, and messaging that resonate with target audiences and support key bid narratives
Leverage AI and automation tools to optimise content, accelerate document assembly, and enhance search functionality within the bid library
Analyse bid performance data and make sound recommendations to continuously improve bid efficiency, win rates, and operational processes
