Responsabilities:
As a Solution Architect (Back-end), you will deliver creative solutions for complex business problems spanning multiple technology domains. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Belgium and beyond, helping shape the future of our technology landscape in a dynamic, innovative work environment.
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for:
Translating complex business or IT problems into solution building blocks across business, application, and technology layers.
Assisting stakeholders in capturing functional requirements and quality attribute goals.
Defining and documenting architecture, including decisions and views addressing stakeholder concerns.
Ensuring principles, policies, standards, and guidelines are applied.
Providing guidance during implementation and responding to changes in architecture.
Communicating solution architecture to business and IT stakeholders.
Collaborating with other architects to ensure consistent architecture for Deutsche Bank Belgium.
Supporting development and operational teams in solving technology challenges.
Skills:
Proven expertise in Middleware (Messaging, API Gateway), API standards (REST, Swagger), Java, container-based deployment (Openshift, Kubernetes, Helm), Docker, and authentication/authorization protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth2).
Solid understanding of security in transactional microservices environments (DMZ, cryptography, PKI certificates, PEN testing, XSS, CSRF).
Experience with modelling techniques (UML, ArchiMate) and tools (Sparx EA).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in both technical and business language.
Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
Customer-focused, creative, analytical, and highly motivated to work in a challenging environment.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong team spirit.
