Job Summary
As a Vice President within the Commodities Quantitative Trading and Research team in London, you will support our global base and precious metals businesses. You will work alongside a collaborative team, applying your quantitative skills to solve complex challenges and drive business outcomes. In this front office role, you will have the opportunity to influence trading strategies and contribute to the success of our business. You will be empowered to innovate and develop your expertise in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop pricing models and risk management strategies for base and precious metals businesses
- Implement models within quantitative libraries and trading/risk platforms, ensuring thorough testing and clear documentation
- Provide analytical support to internal clients by troubleshooting and resolving model-related issues
- Enhance and maintain the risk management platform used by traders to hedge trades and aggregate positions
- Collaborate closely with trading and sales teams to address challenges and identify new opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Advanced graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or Computer Science, with a strong foundation in advanced mathematical models and their implementation
- Experience in a front office trading environment, preferably within commodities or FX
- Proficiency in derivatives pricing models and hedging techniques
- Strong programming skills and experience across multiple programming languages
- Business-driven approach with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead projects
