Deutsche Börse Group’s Data as a Service (DaaS) provides infrastructure and services that enable our businesses to build Analytics and AI solutions at scale. As SRE team, we support this by automating secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that enable stable and compliant data product operations.
In this role, you will focus on cloud security operations, governance, and FinOps, ensuring onboarding of our assets to security tools to remain compliant, effective handling of security findings, and transparency in cloud cost management.
Your responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve cloud security operations, including monitoring tools, reviewing findings, and ensuring compliance with internal security standards.
- Evaluate security alerts and reports, determine required actions, and decide whether remediation, exception handling, or onboarding activities are needed. Evaluate and translate them into clearly defined tasks for engineering teams.
- Contribute to risk assessments and the management of security exceptions
- Act as first-level support and triage for incoming requests ensuring completeness, quality, and readiness for engineering implementation.
- Contribute to cloud cost management by supporting cost allocation, monitoring budgets, controlling cost and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Continuously improve operational processes, tooling, and automation to enhance efficiency, transparency, and service quality.
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
- 2-3 years of experience on Azure or /and GCP cloud.
- Solid understanding of cloud security concepts and tools, such as SIEM, DevSecOps, and cloud-native security services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, e.g. GitHub and Terraform.
- Exposure to cloud cost monitoring and controlling including cost allocation, budgeting, or optimization practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially in incident, problem, and change management is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Structured, independent working style with the ability to understand applications and underlying business processes.
- Fluent in spoken English
