As a Strategy & Proposition Manager, you will contribute to the development, execution and management of our current account offering in the UK market. You will translate customer needs and market dynamics into actionable propositions, working closely with cross-functional teams. Your role will focus on driving commercial performance, deepening customer engagement, and ensuring regulatory alignment. You will help foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, making a tangible impact on our business.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to current account proposition strategy
- Lead proposition development by translating customer needs and market dynamics into clear propositions
- Run analytics and targeted deep-dives on commercial performance (e.g. acquisition, primacy, unit economics)
- Build business cases and sizing; prioritize initiatives across acquisition, activation, engagement, servicing, and retention
- Partner with delivery teams to shape requirements, validate hypotheses, and support launch readiness
- Monitor and optimize product, feature, and proposition performance post-launch and in business-as-usual
- Manage governance to ensure proposition changes align with regulatory and conduct requirements, operational readiness, and risk appetite; support stakeholder updates and approvals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in product strategy, proposition, strategy, or consulting
- Strong quantitative skills, and commercial knowledge of the retail banking industry
- Experience partnering with product delivery teams to ship customer-facing propositions, features and experiences
- Ability to balance customer value, economics, and risk and compliance constraints
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies for commercial and customer performance
- Experience in managing governance processes within financial services
- Knowledge of regulatory and conduct requirements in UK retail banking
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and support launch readiness
- Demonstrated success in optimizing product and proposition performance
