Your tasks
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect (f/m/d) to join our international team to design, develop, and maintain our cloud-based software solution. As a highly regulated company, we have to provide data to the regulatory authorities in defined time windows. We developed a cloud-native software for our internal business unit in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will support the project which is characterized by high complexity and variability with regard to the programming languages and frameworks used. In addition, you will assist in the further development and training of junior developers.

- Terraform
- Github, Github Actions
- PySpark-Datapipeline (Dataproc, Cloud Composer)
- Spring Boot Services (CloudRun)
- React Frontend
- Databases: BigQuery, CloudSQL (PostgreSQL)
- Pub/Sub as messaging service
- Jira, Confluence
We work in an agile team and coordinate in dailies, refinements and sprint reviews. You decide whether you work remotely from home (Germany) or in our office in Leipzig.

Your skills
- You successfully completed an IT-related university degree or a similar apprenticeship
- You bring along very good expertise in the following programming languages and frameworks: Java, Python, Terraform, HTML, JavaScript, SQL
- You are well experienced in working with backend frameworks like Spring Boot
- You already designed cloud native applications (GCP is preferred), using the "infrastructure-as-code" approach
- You write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code and help establishing best practices
- You can communicate excellently in English
